For my first speech in this class, I felt somewhat nervous and just wanted to get the whole thing over with, which is why I chose to go first. One of the major things I noticed I did wrong was I heard myself saying words like "um" and "like" a lot. Another thing I noticed I did wrong was my posture seemed harsh, my arms were folded a lot and I looked down a lot. One thing I noticed I did right was I smiled and did give eye contact for a lot of the speech. However, making the speech wasn't truly as bad as I thought it would be, it's just getting over the initial nervous feeling.
